Direct sow after last frost date and begin harvesting greens in 28-45 days. Sow every 2 to 3 weeks for a continuous supply of nutritious greens. Also suitable for microgreen production. Crisp Mint: A classic romaine with mint green leaves that are sweet and crunchy. Freckles: Green leaves are mottled with maroon specks. This Austrian heirloom romaine produces tender sweet leaves and is slow to bolt. Ice Queen: This classic iceberg variety is tops for flavor and heat tolerance. Outredgeous: A beautiful romaine with dark red leaves. Tango: Looseleaf variety with frilly leaves. Best in spring or early summer.
