Days to maturity: 90 days from transplant
New Sugar Rush Peach Hot Pepper is a unique hot pepper with tropical fruity flavor, peachy-pink color, and impressive heat. The results of accidental natural pollination from the breeding work of Chris Fowler of Wales, Sugar Rush Peach produces heavy yields of 3- to 4-inch tapered fruits on tall, bushy plants that can reach 3 to 4 feet in height. Ripening from green to a warm peach hue, the peppers deliver a surprising balance of sweet, citrusy notes with a spicy kickmeasuring from 50,000 to 100,000 Scoville units.
Sugar Rush Peach is the perfect addition to your favorite hot sauce or salsa, providing the same heat that you would expect from a spicy cayenne pepper. It?s also great for grilling, stuffing, or slicing into fresh dishes for a tropical twist.
Peppers thrive in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Start seeds indoors 6?8 weeks before your last frost date and transplant outdoors once temperatures are consistently warm. Be sure to check out our Bio Dome Seed Starter Kit. With the Bio Dome, you can control the temperature, light, and soil mix to ensure your seeds become strong for transplant.
